About the Centre

The old Community Centre built in 1972.

  Our new Centre  below was built in 2005 and funded by the Coalfield Regeration Board.
It contains a Large Hall, sixty foot by thirty foot, with a Stage at one end. It has a Kitchen, bar, bar Lounge, three meeting rooms, reception, toilets (Including disabled toilet) and baby changing facilities.

Like most modern buildings ours is Wheel Chair Friendly. It has easy access ramps to the front and rear and wide doors with light switches at waist height. It also has a Wheel Chair Lift giving access to the stage area.
 
It is maintained by a group of volunteers providing recreation, education to the community.
