- The Groundwork Trust to clear up derelict sites and grass and plant bulbs.
- The Neighbourhood Action Team to remove graffitti and keep the village clean .
- The Carnival Committee to put on the Knottingley & Ferrybridge Carnival.
- This year it is on Saturday July 8th, starting from Ferrybridge .
- Wakefield District Housing to put on the Best Garden Competition.
- The Community Centre to put on events there.
- W.M.D.C. to install the Christmas Lights and organise the Switch On.
