Regenerating the Wentcliffe Estate

Towards the end of August , early September 2006 ,work will start to replace the existing houses with brand new ones .In phase 1 building work will start on an existing cleared site and   12 other properties will be demolished and replaced with   brand new houses. In time the whole estate will contain new houses .   All   current tenants will be offered a new home on the Wentcliffe estate   but if they would like to relocate to a different area   WDH   will   try and meet their requests. The rebuilding of this area is expected to take around three years.
