In Our Memory

  Mr Sydney Hansom
Mr Hansom was a founder member of of the Community Association back in 1969. He was made Chairman in 1972 when the Centre opened and  held that position for some 35 yrs. The service , before a packed congregation, was held in St. Andrews Church on the 19th April and he was laid to rest in Ferrybridge Cemetary. Always a stalwart supporter of Ferrybridge and the Centre his last act was to donate £1000 which we used to complete the stage area. Sadly he passed away before he could see it. We will always be grateful to him and may he rest in peace.
